Canon EOS Rebel T3i The newest member of the Canon SLR lineup boasts an impressive number of advanced features at an entry-level price point. Depending on territory, this camera is known as the Canon Digital Rebel T3i (North America), or Canon EOS 600D (worldwide). The T3i features the same field-proven 18-megapixel sensor and 1080p HD video found in 7D, 60D, and 550D, and a new articulating screen makes high angle and low angle composition possible. Nauticam NA-600D Nauticam is proud to announce the arrival of the NA-600D housing for Canon 600D/T3i. The NA-600D builds on the success of the NA-550D housing with a new design that keeps the best of the 550D housing but adds new design elements to further enhance the functionality and ergonomics. The NA-600D housing inherits the patented Nauticam port locking system, locking housing latches, comfortable rubberized handles, and innovative ergonomic access to key camera controls. New features include a multifunction thumb lever for accessing Video Start/Stop and programmable AE Lock button (referred to as “*”), and control extensions moving all of the camera’s controls within reach of the right and left handles.?Unmatched Ergonomics?Nauticam housings are designed with in-water ergonomics in mind, and with NA-600D, Nauticam engineers have again created a system that puts important controls at the fingertips of the user. Entry-level cameras like T3i are more dependent upon the menu system than higher end models for control changes, making it important to relocate many of the camera’s rear pushbuttons to the right handle. ??Shutter Release, ISO, *, Video Start/Stop, AV +/-, and the camera’s front command wheel are all accessible via levers or dials under the right handle. Pushbuttons on the back of the housing access Focus Area Selector, Quick Control Menu, White Balance, Autofocus Mode, Drive, Playback, Delete, and Set. An accessory Zoom Gear Control Knob and pushbuttons for Menu and Info are available from the left handle. Another innovative ergonomic advancement is Nauticam’s two-stage shutter release lever. This mechanical lever greatly enhances tactile feel of the half press and full press positions of the shutter release button, allowing precise focus control, and less accidental shutter actuation.??The very successful AV +/- switch is unchanged from 550D. When shooting in manual exposure mode, this lever assigns the function of the command wheel to shutter speed or f-stop, and when in Av or Tv modes enables exposure compensation. The lever is large enough to be operated by feel, allowing the photographer to keep their eye in the viewfinder while operating this function and making exposure changes on the fly. The fingertip ISO lever replaces the 550D ISO paddle, making it easier to change ISO –allowing quick video exposure changes right from the handle.?Continued Innovation?New, easy to use locking latches eliminate the stainless steel latches used previously. This new closure method reduces overall size and is easier to operate. These locking latches are easy to close with minimal hand strength required, and protected from accidental opening by a locking detent. Patented Locking Port Release Lever & Locking Extension Rings Nauticam’s acclaimed Patented Locking Port Release Lever is incorporated into the NA-600D housing. Lens ports are inserted straight into the Nauticam mount, eliminating the twisting or threading actions that can extrude dry o-rings. Once seated, the large red port lock lever is engaged, securely locking the port in place. To remove a lens port, the silver unlock button is pressed, the port lever rotated to the outer position, and the port is pulled straight out of the housing.  Nauticam is pleased to offer the industry’s only locking extension ring system as standard equipment, securely fixing large dome ports even when mounted with an extension ring. NA-7D housing:

The 7D housing is the first Canon housing Nauticam built for Canon EOS DSLR cameras. Along with the housing, Nauticam has announced an extensive line of Canon lens port system ranging from Macro, Zoom to Ultra wide angle lens to fulfill different shooting conditions. The 7D housing has been regarded as Canon’s best featured APS-C DSLR to date. It features an 18 megapixel CMOS sensor, and one feature makes the camera impeccable is the 1080p HD video at 30 frame function. The first impression of the 7D housing is the compact and robust outlook, and like its precedent, the beautiful contour surface come from precision CNC machining and hard anodized finishing.  If you compare the 7D housing with previous Nauticam housing, you will find that the new housing has embraced a new way to access the camera buttons without moving hands from the handles. There is a set of ‘piano’ keys in the rear case of the housing for accessing AF-on selection, star and set function and the most frequently used camera functions can be easily reached through handy levers. And divers don’t have to align the camera switch positions to use the on/off lever and still/video lever before closing the housing, the spring loaded actuating mechanisms do automatically engage themselves.

The 7D housing come with standard 0.66x viewfinder, and dual optical fiber bulkhead. In addition to standard port option, there are broad choices of extensions to work with different lens length, and various port adaptors and gear adaptors are available for making most of your existing diving photography equipment.

NA-550D housing:

The NA-550D housing is the latest member of the Nauticam family designed to accommodate the hugely popular Canon 550D, Canon’s latest upper entry level DSLR with 1080p HD video function.??The NA-550D housing inherits the renowned piano keys from NA-7D housing and the signature port locking system. The top piano key/rocker key controls AE lock, the middle for AF point selection, and the bottom provides access to the quick control button. One particularly innovative feature of the housing is the play back button, located below the camera’s cross keys, and now accessible at the left top side of the housing. This means you can easily play back images underwater with your left thumb while keeping both hands on grips. The housing also features a new fingertip ISO paddle, for changing ISO speed located on the top of the housing. We have also worked on the sensitivity of the shutter release lever which incorporates an enhanced mechanism, allowing a very responsive half-press autofocus.

NA-D300s housing

Nikon’s D300s is the new flagship in the company’s DX-format range. It inherits the 12.3 effective megapixel CMOS sensor; Rapid 7 fps continuous shooting; large, bright 100% frame coverage viewfinder. It also boasts a great new feature, the 720P HD movie mode after that of the existing D90 and D5000.  Nauticam NA-D300s housing for the D300s is slightly bigger than the first NA-D90 model. The housing is also machined from robust aluminum alloy with hard anodized surface treatment. The thickness of the coating allow the housing to go through the toughest shooting conditions. The ergonomic design of Nauticam housings has been well recognized from the first model. And the NA-D300s second the point again. Through sets of well designed gear system, all the most used functions on the NA-D300s housing can be easily accessed without moving hand from the grips. Especially the video function could be easily triggered through the side lever on the rear case of the housing. The unique easy locking port release system has been the most talked feature ever since the launch of the first housing. It is undoubtly incorporated into the NA-D300s housing. And there are sets of extension rings with locks to go with different option of dome ports. NA-D90 housing

Nauticam’s first underwater camera housing, the NA-D90, for the Nikon D90, combines innovative ideas and high precision engineering into a compact body. The positively received Nikon D90 camera has been labeled the “best value” DSLR; it is the first ever DSLR camera with high definition video capabilities, it has the ability to record HD 720p videos at 24 frames per second. Also notable is the camera’s 12.3 megapixel resolution, TTL compatibility, high dynamic range and live view capability. One of the most unique proposition of the housing is the easy port locker. The innovative mechanical design of the locking system makes the installation smoothy and handy. To install a port, simply turn the locking lever down when you can hear a click sound, push the port in line with the index sign,and turn the lever back to the original place to lock it, the inside bayonet ring do all the trick, no thread or screw needed. And simply put the lever down again to release the port. The Live view/OK lever of the NA-D90 housing is specially designed so that the HD video recording function of the camera can be most easily and conveniently utilised underwater.
